9-7-09

Good Morning All,
Had a restless night last night--thinking about all the events coming up this fall. Have you ever had a night where you just can't turn your brain off? Well I had one last night. Bummer too because I rarely get a chance to sleep in and well I was up at 2am and again at 6am. Augh!!!! I keep thinking about my savage friend Angela Sweet--we had a chance to talk via Facebook last night and she has decided like myself to try out the fitness side of competing. Let me just tell you it is one of my year out goals. Next year I will be in Vegas taking the leap from just Figure to Figure and Fitness. I just nee to to chat with Cathy and start the ball rolling. So with that on my mind I started to also think about this season's contests that are all to soon aproaching. We have Tampa nad Orlando which both are great ofcorse the Vegas one is the Gold Nugget of fall shows.

But with all that going on I am just like everyother competitor scared that I am not on target or if I push harder will I look better--but as we all know harder does not always mean better. The kids are going to challenge me this season with my workouts and food with all the crazy amounts of soccer games and tornaments we have to go to. we had a tournament over this labor day weekend--it was all good i was able to plan everything out and take care of my workouts before the weekend even started. I also got in the gym this morning for legs and will hit the cardio later on tonight.

I am still waiting on Big Brother Big Sister---I talked with one person but I needd to schedule a time to go in and take a class as well as get myself finger printed(waiting for that person to call me back). They really have some amazing programs for military kids. So I have made it my short term goal to get as many active duty people involved and start volunteering some time with these kids that have been left behind. If you need any information on it please feel free to contact me either way for military kids or not.

As far todays food goes I have had 2 meals

Apple
1/2 cup oats
5 egg whites

Leg workout--32 oz water

1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup oats
6 egg whites
